ProRes will soon appear in iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max

On Tuesday, Apple officially introduced the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. This new generation of iPhone is equipped with a large capacity battery, an improved digital camera with three completely new cameras, especially the A15 Bionic chip that brings higher efficiency. Both iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max will receive updates to support ProRes capture, but they won’t be available when these new iPhones recently launch.

Professionals in the movie business often use codecs, so ProRes has been recommended by Apple a lot because of its extremely good quality. Users can enjoy high-quality videos by using ProRes to record footage with minimal compression.

Customers of iPhone 13 Professional and iPhone 13 Professional Max will enjoy this amazing feature. They can edit videos more flexibly with the knowledge from ProRes provided right in it. This is amazing, we will be like real photographers and create amazing photos.

However, according to Apple’s response, if users buy the iPhone 13 Professional when they first launch, they will not be able to experience this feature. It should be out soon when there’s a new iOS alternative, that “rapid launch” could be later this year. Currently, there are not many details about ProRes.

Even with ProRAW, we have to wait for iOS to arrive in November for the iPhone 12 Professional after the launch was delayed by Apple. When Apple released the iOS 14.3 beta to developers, the most notable new feature is that the iPhone 12 Pro/12 Pro Max supports the Apple ProRAW image format. Predictably, ProRes will appear when IOS 15.1 or other versions. Next week, the iPhone 13 generation will be shipped and come with iOS 15 pre-installed.

On September 20th, iOS 15 will be officially released by Apple with SharePlay, App Privacy Reporting, ID playing cards, and General Management options after a delay from being introduced at WWDC 2021 that it will launch in June
